Hello Everyone!

This week has been a great one! Starting on Wednesday, I spent more time in the flower beds tearing things up. Have I mentioned how fun that is? It is very satisfying, let me tell you. Oh, and I took advantage of one of the many perks that serving on the grounds has to offer, and picked a bunch of flowers for my mom and my sisters. That made some happy people right there.

Thursday I teamed up with the Rigtrups in The Discovery Center again, and we had a few people come in this time, so it was a lot more fun. I learned that day also to be very careful when trying to set up a family search account, let me tell you. We had a couple come in, and we were on the computer for half an hour trying to get it to work, but the system was just being stupid to us, and we couldn't get it to work.

Friday was pretty fun. Elder Thomas and I got with Dan and Mark, and we finished cleaning out the beds by the front doors of the temple, and we started to plant flowers. We got two of the beds loaded up that day, and they are looking pretty fresh.

Saturday at the Discovery Center was awesome! It started off with a bang, as twelve self-reliance missionaries came in to check out the Center. Now, let me tell you, we don't have the biggest of spaces to work with, so it was a little crowded in there, and I felt like a traffic director trying to keep some order. But man, it was so amazing to see so many people fascinated with finding things about their families. What was even cooler though was looking around and seeing all these people sharing what they learned with each other, and sharing stories about their families. I think that right there is one of the true joys of family history, taking the stories that you discover and sharing them with others.

And finally on Monday, We spent another full day blowing away all of the leaves that keep accumulating everywhere. I seriously don't know how there are still leaves on the trees from how much we are clearing away. But, I do think that is about it for me this week.
