Getting to work

Hello Everyone!

This week was pretty decent. I went to my first District Meeting out here on Tuesday, and I got a bunch of confused looks from missionaries who were trying to figure out what I was doing there. They are all super happy to have me though. Something that they are really trying to work on in this zone though is to get more member present lessons, and in doing that, have more members invite people to come to church. I think that is pretty cool. It also helps that I can count as a member present, which is pretty helpful to them. Also that day, my Dad and Brother came home, so now the whole family is here! It is so great to be with all of them!

Wednesday morning, my Dad, Mom, Brooklin, and I made it out to the temple together, and that was awesome, because that was the first time that we all went together. Friday morning, I got to help the Elders out with some service for one of their friends(what they call investigators here, which I like). We cleared out a bunch of dead grass, blackberry bushes(got stuck with some thorns there)and laid out a pathway in his backyard. He should be coming to church this week, which would be great! And Saturday, I helped set up a bunch of stuff for my brothers Eagle project that is coming up, and I went out tracting with the Elders for an hour. We had a good time together, and we got one potential investigator! Sunday, I got to meet with the people that are over YCSM's in the area, and they are great people. They are helping to get me a set schedule of what I will be doing for the next 8 months. And I also made some really good cinnamon rolls with Dad. I was very proud of those!
