Tis I, Elder Jensen, the YCSM!

Hello Everyone!
Yes, I got a new email. This is my original home email that I am using now. My LDS mail does work, and I have gotten emails on it, but I do not know how long they will keep it up for. So, just in case, please send your Weekly Letters to this email address, because I still want to know how all of y'all are doing on your missions. Also, my Weekly's may shorten in length, but I am going to keep them up for the rest of my mission But, onward with my week!
Tuesday was a day full of tender mercies! There was also a lot of waiting around. I got up early with my companion, and finished packing up, and then we drove to the Stake Center together. From there, I said good bye to Elder Hollist, and drove of to the Foster building, where I proceeded to help out, and wait until I would go to the airport. It was a long time there. It was then off to the airport with two other Elders who would be doing the same thing as me, just in Arizona, and I missed my flight. But, the airline people were able to find me another flight, and this one would get me home faster, so I took it. I got into the airport, and went down that escalator, and saw the beautiful sight of my family waiting for me(except for my Dad and brother, who are in Alaska, but i get to see them tomorrow!) Gosh, it is so wonderful to be with them again!
So, here is where things change a little, and I just kind of hit the highlights from the day that pertain to my work as a YCSM(or I also may add a few things that I do on the side as well, but not too many). But, first thing that I did Wednesday morning was go to the temple with my older Sister. I love going to the temple, and I am so excited that I get to go there a ton as a part of my service! I also started trying to learn how to actually do family history, since I am pretty bad at it. My mother is a pro though, and she has been showing me all the tips and tricks. That evening, I also met with the Stake President, who will be acting as my Mission President for the next little while. We worked together to build a schedule of things that I could do now, and in the long run to keep me busy. He is sending my plan into Salt Lake, and hopefully soon, I should be receiving an official call letter for my reassignment.
Thursday's main project was more Family History work. I also sat down with the local Elders here, and told them that if they need a guy to help them out, I am their guy (I can also get them into a single woman's home, which I think is super helpful!). Their eyes lit up a little during that conversation.
Edit by mom: For safety reasons, the Elders (missionaries) are not allowed to enter any home without a third, adult male present. It doesn't matter if the people are members of the church or not, there always has to be a third, adult male present for them to enter a home.
Saturday, I went to the temple again, and this time, I helped out in the Baptistry, and I had a good time there. Lots of people were coming in and out of there, because in the summer here, they have an open baptistry. And on Sunday, I got to be reintroduced to my ward, which was dissolved and merged with another ward while I was gone. It was great to meet new people, and to reacquaint myself with others. I also got a few contacts for service opportunities, which is awesome! The rest of that day was just hanging out with the family.
So, there you have it folks! Again, I would love to keep hearing about what happens with everyone else, where they are at, so keep me posted there. For those who have access to it, I am back on my Facebook account(my pre-mission one)and I have recently acquired a new phone(now that was an adventure). So, choose your made of contact, and keep me posted. I hope that y'all have a most excellent week wherever you are at!
