The Elders and the Priest quorum out tracting on Sunday

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to 2019!!!!! This week leading up to it has been pretty good. District Meeting was on Wednesday since Tuesday was Christmas. They had mostly a goal setting meeting to set as many people on date for baptism before the New Year. They made some really solid plans in there, so I am sure that they will have much success in that.

The FDC on Thursday was actually pretty lively. A nice large crowd came in right at the beginning and they stayed the whole time. It felt really nice to be helping out so many people.

Friday brought some sad news to the temple crew. Jordan had his last day of work that day before he goes off to school. He will be missed by us. Mostly though, we spent Friday going around and just blowing off all of the sidewalks and the groves. It gives the grounds a nice, fresh look after doing that. We also spent a little time in the shop tidying up in there.

On Saturday I came into the Discovery Center and had just finished setting up in there when a group came right on in. We then had groups after them keep coming in, so we were busy the whole time. It was great. The second group that came in was probably my favorite and the most lively. They kept cracking jokes at each other, and were just super happy and excited. It was great!

Sunday was a momentous day. It was the last day of 3 hour church. Starting this Sunday, church will only be 2 hours long. That is pretty exciting. The whole 3rd hour of church this past Sunday was all about how the next year is going to go down. I am honestly very excited about this new "Come, Follow Me" program. I have been skimming the booklet, and it looks amazing. I also went out with the Elders that night with a couple of Priests. We had a really fun time. We actually found a potential investigator that night, which is fantastic!!!!

And finally on Monday I said my final good bye to Elder Buhler, as he is getting transferred to Enumclaw. Then at the temple, I had a short day and just spent the day blowing leaves around and making things look good.
